Da Buo Gong Temple
Visited Da Buo Gong Temple at Loyang as it was the day of worshipping Da Buo Gong.
We had expected that there will be lotsa people going but unfortunately, the crowd was more than we thought! For those who have been there, you should know that there is a long stretch of road leading to the temple.

Even before we arrive at that stretch of road, cars & buses had filled the main roads. We had no choice but to park the van in whatever empty side road we found. From there, we walked all the way to the temple which was packed with "ants".
Ah Loh had went seperate way with us. The smoke coming from the joss-sticks & candles were sooo unbearable!!!! Jie & I simply couldn't withstand & our tears kept trickling down! Temperature was also quite high, we couldn't stop wiping off our sweat. This place is worse than a market place! Noise from the crowd + the temple assistants used microphone to guide praying procedures + ringing bells...
When we finished, we headed for the 平安桥. As I do not wish to have the amulet chop on my clothes, I decline from crossing the "bridge". Only Jie & Loh crossed it.

Make-Over @ "Cover Looks"
Had taken leave today to rest & clear leave as well. I had also booked an appointment for a make-over at "Cover Looks" at 3pm.
Woke up at 11am. Brushed teeth, washed face & sit in front of my pc to download MSN as I had accidentally downloaded a older version few days ago. When all was done, I iron my clothes that I was to take the shots with later. As time was running short, I had a quick bath, change clothes, make-up, packed my bag & off I go!!
I alighted at City Hall MRT & began to search for the building. It was situated at Stamford House, besides Capitol Building. As I had not been to that area before, it was quite hard to find. Luckily I still manage to find the building on time despite the hard-to-see building names.
The inner deco is quite high-class & artistic as most of the shops there are either selling artistic paint works or photoshops.
When I stepped into the shop, the staffs confirmed my particulars & was then ushered to a seat to begin the make-up session. The make-up artist is an Indonesia lady who is very friendly & pretty. We chatted throughout session. In the studio, the photographer guided me how to pose. He is a caucasian so he spoke with an accent which made me quite difficult to make out his words, moreover he spoke too soft & fast. Despite these communication problem I still can manage to catch some of his words & tried to follow his instruction. A lady soon came in & seemed to be his assistant. She suggested poses & guided me as well. These made me think of the time when I took my wedding shots. It was so tired & tough that time but this time round, it was easier as I was not wearing any gown & it took about 15 mins & everything was over.
I was told to choose the pics I like & I realised I was cheated! The voucher is only a complimentary voucher which they allow only 2 selected poses to be printed out in a 4R size postcard.
Initially I thought I can choose any 2 pics out of all the poses but in fact it was pre-selected by them. And see carefully, the 2 pics are complimentary, so I guess no matter what I still need to pay for some of the photos. As expected, they tried to psycho me into purchasing the whole album which will cost quite a bomb. Luckily I was quite determined & did not give in. Instead I chose the affordable package which costed me $116 for 6 poses (soft copy) & 2 complimentary poses. I can see that 1 of the staff whom I suspect is the superior was quite disappointed & unhappy but I heck care, this is my money, I have the right to spend how much that I feel it's right.

Supper @ Jalan Kayu
Rushed back grandma's home to vist Han as I had scheduled to clean up my home today so that it'll be dust-free when Han comes back tomorrow.
Jie was studying so I had to do all the household chores myself. Haiz, so shacked after a day in the office already & still couldn't get a good rest after work. Halfway through the chores, I received a call from Jie that he was on the way home. Yeah!! Finally he can help me out. To my dismay, when he reached home, he claimed that he was having a slight fever. No choice, I asked him to take a rest while I finish up everything myself. Seeing such a pathetic me, he decided to help me vacuum the floor only. I agreed as I can see that he was not so terrible sick, just uncomfortable from his conjested nose. Heehee! What a bad wife I am hor.
When all was done, e had a bath & decided to go Jalan Kayu for supper.
The Kamming soup was superb! Thick, lotsa lamp meat & not stinky at all!

Wei Han Again Hahaha!!! (Rated NC 16)
Visited Han alone after work today as Jie was working OT again. Haiz, since Han is born, his overtime had increased. Sometimes I felt so lonely when he's not around. Luckily got Han to accompany me though he's such a pain in the neck sometimes lar.Han was sitting in his rocking chair, playing with his great-grandma. He smiled the moment he saw me. Hee, Jie always complain that Han seldom smile at him when he saw him. All I can say is "Huo Gai"! Who tell him not to build up relationship with Han by taking care of his needs? Jie will shove the duties to me & mum-in-law as much as he can sometimes. He is either too tired or plain lazy to do it. He is not totally ignorant though as he still does help out sometimes & make time to play & communicate with Han but maybe not as much as mum-in-law & I do.Haiz, don't know why I suddenly felt inferior again this evening when I walked back home after visiting Han. I felt that I'm not a good mother at all. Unable to provide my "natural" milk to him. Well, all coz of bad comments, lack of knowledge, stamina, determination & initiative to ask. Should I have been more hardworking enough & block my ears from ineducated comments, my Han will still be building up his immunity by consuming his daily intake from me. I really felt guily till now lor. So for those future mothers out there, if you would like to breastfeed ur bb, pls do so & do not 半途而废 . Don't listen to those old folks saying that "if baby brings milk for you, you'll have it, if he never, no matter how you feed you'll still be an empty bottle". It's wrong!! Breastfeeding works on demand & supply system, the more you feed the more milk you'll produce. Just make sure you get "topped up" by eating fresh fish or supplements. Heh, I suddenly sounds like a lactation consultant hor but haizzz..... too bad it's too late now.I suddenly missed Han ALOT on my way back home, wished to carry him in my arms for a longer time, hug him close to me, smell his baby, unique scent & kiss him all over his cheeks. I had only carry him for a few seconds when Jie called & I had to pass him to mum-in-law. After hanging up the phone, she still have no intention to pass him back to me & asked me to go & have my dinner. I did so & thought that after my meal, I can spend my time with him. Unfortunately mum-in-law patted him to sleep when I was halfway through my dinner! Han was crying in tiredness so she had no choice. I understand but.... still felt unwittingly for spending such a short period with him. Actually I had chance to spend longer time with him in the first place, but I did not wish to interupt Jie's grandma as she was playing with him & Wei Wei kept distracting me. So am I a failure as a mother as I can't even take control of my time with him. It's ok, I tell myself there will not be a next time anymore.Thoughts: Cherish every moment spent with your love ones. Believe in yourself.

A Botak Han Han
After 4 months of waiting, my Han can finally shave his head loh. Tradition practice that newborn babies are to have their hair shaved, no matter skinhead or "durian"head when they reach 1 month old. As some people are afraid of injuring their delicate scalp so the shaving can also be done when they're 4 months old & I'm one of those "kiah si" ones. I wonder why does it have to be the 4th month, why not 3rd or 5th?? Hmm... curious.....Rushed home after work to bring Han to the saloon nearby my home. Mum-in-law went with us as she wana see a botak Han. There was not much customers then so the moment we entered, the hairdresser immediately led me to a seat & took out the shaver & started to shave. It made me nervous as I still have not get myself prepared. I was afraid of Han's reaction to the shave, will he cry continously & pathetically as if in shock like last time? How do I calm him down during & after the procedure? Am I able to hold him still & tightly in order not to get him injured by the shaver? These questions popped up in my mind but before I was able to find the answers, the lady had placed the shaver on his head.For the first few minutes, Han stayed completely calm as he looked around in curiosity. He gave the blur blur look as if wondering where that place was & why are wee standing around him. After some time, he finally realised the "Eee Eee" sound of the shaver & something was gliding on his head. He cried with despair but not so loud & hard as expected. Big tear drops kept dripping down which made my heart pricked with pain. I couldn't bear it any longer & asked Jie to pop his mouth with the pacifier but the lady advised not to. Ya she's right actually, when a bb is crying, let him steam it off, it'll be better than having to stuck his mouth with something which may makes him feel worse sometimes. About 10 mins, it was all over & Han regain his normal self. Heehee!!!!!! He look soooooo CUTE & WIERD with his new hairstyle!! Too bad I had forgotten to ask Jie to take pic when he was in the midst of shaving. Anyway, pls enjoy the pics below bah.

Cockroach! Yucks!!!!!
Brought Han to buy baby neccesities at Kaki Bukit, Rivervale Plaza & Compass Point. It really made Jie & I, even Han too was damn tired of the outing. Everytime we boarded Jie's van to another destination, Han would flare up & cried to sleep as he needed to take his afternoon nap.
Phew! Finally all the things were bought, except for a small pan which we want to use for cooking "Cuo Mi" for Han to eat. No choice, had to search for it another day le coz it had gotten quite late already.
At Jie's grandma's home, all was well when suddenly, Han kept crying non-stop! He cried till no voice came out of him which scared the wits out of all of us! Mum-in-law was carrying him at that time, so she immediately hug him closer & tried to soothe him. When he had stop crying, she carry him back to the living room but again, he cried real hard again! She brought him back to the kitchen & patted him to calm him again. Finally he felt better after drinking some water. Again, she carried him to the living room BUT AGAIN (this is the 3rd & last time) he got cried like he was in a shock! Mum-in-law brought him to the kitchen to calm him, with Jie's Aunt, Uncle, Jie & I crowded around him to soothe him. Kaoz! What had happened? It's not good to let a baby, only 3 months old to cry till like that & it's 3 X somemore!! Finally, we guessed that Wei Wei may had frightened him by jumping around him. 
Poor Han, if only I can quit my job & take care of him in my own home with no one else, that'll be great! But I know it's impossible.
After Han fell asleep, Jie & I headed for home. This time, I was the one who got startled by Jie! While we were both engrossed in watching TV, he shouted suddenly & jumped up & away from the couch. A cockroach had climbed on his shirt out of nowhere! I immediately jumped on the couch with a pillow on my hand, in case it fly towards me, I can fight it off with that. It disappeared after being brushed off by Jie & we began hunting down for it. Both of us are scared of roaches most, so we couldn't RIP if we can't find it.
Finally I tracked down the damn invator in a bag of used paper bags, on top of the wardrobe in our study room. Jie used a bar used for hanging clothes to take the bag out to the corridor. It was so funny seeing him scared till like that, moreover he's a guy lor. Haiz! Hahaha!

A visit to Loh's (Jie's ex-manager) house
Jie, I & Han paid a CNY visit, together with his ex colleague & children to his ex manager's house at Bukit Batok. Whoa! He house was quite big man. He's staying in a mansionate, with 3 rooms in the 2nd storey. It is so spacious that his kids are able to ride around in their toy motorcycle. A lot of kids were playing around & when I was about to feed Han, he got startled up by the screamings of the children. No choice, I had to feed him in Loh's bedroom. Finally I managed to get him to nap but only a few minutes before he was waken up again. Guess he was not used to unfamiliar surroundings bah. Loh volunteered to carry him while Jie & I enjoyed our pizza treat by Loh.
Soon it was nightfall & we decided to call it a day. It was raining that night, so Jie had to hold the umbrella while supporting me & Han who was in my arms to climb up his van. Suddenly my foot gave way from the step as it was too slippery, almost causing me to fall but really really fortunately, Jie used his might to push me upwards & my instinct told me to grab hold of Han REALLY tightly. Phew!!! What a close shave!
